Welcome back! I finally had a few moments to sit down and update… It’s been insane. Anyway, thanks for reading this, the second installment of "Shnidlenstein: An Epic.”

We left with the possibility of Lucy and Youssef hooking up.

True, I could have been a little more creative and tasteful in my summary, but… I’m okay with it.

Needless to say, it didn’t happen. Youssef was a little drama queen and had to slap her away at the last second. It didn’t stop them from sleeping next to each other, though, as they dreamed of babies and new, expensive things.

In the morning, Lucy slipped on her swim suit to take a bath. She reflected on her decisions the night before… Lucy didn’t feel guilty (or slutty, apparently) about her actions and she knew she had to try again. She very well could be with her future husband!

So, she tried again. No go.

Youssef: I barely know you! Are you just using me for good times and reproduction?!

Lucy: No! Mainly so I can get our romance level up so we can get married… then reproduction!

Youssef: I feel violated.

Lucy: So… how about it, then?

Youssef: Fine.

Do I hear a lullaby?

No, actually. My sound card is broken. Who knows what kind of informatory sounds I’m missing out on.

Lucy: Whoaz! Grass? What happened?

One minute you’re the big spoon in bed, the next you’re being tossed back to your tiny shack in Sunset Valley… That’s about how Sims 3 vacations end.

It took no time for Lucy to realize that she had no friends in her home town. She’d been exposed to such an exotic land and introduced to so many interesting people before she’d explored her own town that it seemed empty to her.

After hours of loneliness, and me buying three random and expensive statues to waste money, Lucy finally buckled and got a job as a chef.

Lucy: Life isn’t worth living without my Youssef…

Get over it. Maybe you’re pregnant with his baby.

She wasn’t.

Lucy: You would think this would be hard, but it’s really not.

Congratulations.

Tired of her moping, and hoping to get this legacy moving, I allowed her to invite Youssef to stay.

Lucy: Ohmigawsh. Eeee! My life is complete!

Annnnd the movement that is feminism takes a giant fall backward.

Youssef: This place is a piece of crap.

Chubby Red-Headed Paperboy: Alright!

Freak. It’s not polite to stare… especially that much.

To escape the burning gaze of her paperboy, Lucy and Youssef moved things inside. It was generally a Sims 3 legacy founders’ beginning… They amorously hugged, flirtatiously joked, flirted in general, complimented appearances… etc. It was a long process before such taboo acts as “Whisper in Ear” and “Massage” were available.

Lucy: OMG. Even though you have a speech bubble of proposal over your head, I still have no idea what you’re doing on one knee! SUSPENSE!

Youssef: Will you be my legacy spouse?

Lucy: Yes! Don’t you mean my legacy spouse?

Youssef: …Sure.

They were married in their backyard. They didn’t own a dresser to switch clothes, so Youssef got married in that weird sweater vest that accentuated the small pooch on his stomach.

Lucy: I take you, Youssef… and what can only be described as a budding beer gut, as my lawfully wedded husband-

After the wedding, things were pretty quiet. All they could talk about was food- he was a natural cook and she was a chef by profession.

Lucy: I think I really like stainless steel cookware… It’s much more affordable.

Youssef: Oh, Lucy! You’re so naive. Copper cookware is far superior- but of course, that’s the difference between a normal person and a skilled natural cook.

Lucy: You’ve got one cooking skill point.

If Youssef could do anything, he could get Lucy pregnant. That’s right, we’re getting closer to the next generation!

Youssef: Hello, little Youssef Junior!

We don’t do the “Junior” thing in a legacy- far too confusing…

Youssef: We’ll see about that…

No. We won’t.

Lucy: Hey, uh, I’m in labor- just so you know.

That was fast…

Lucy: Not really. You just declined to use the numerous screenshots of me walking aimlessly with a growing belly.

Touchè.

Meet Rachel Shnidlenstein! Named after Rachel Green from the TV show Friends.

She’s an Athletic Virtuoso. And, sorry, I can’t remember what her favorites are. Her favorite color is lime green, though.

Nothing really happened for a while, so Rachel was aged up pretty quickly. Youssef pulled himself away from his never-ending slumber to see his child grow up.

She became a very interestingly pretty toddler. I’m so glad I’m sticking to not being so picky about genetics this time… It’s been a problem in the past.

Now that Rachel was a toddler, Youssef and Lucy decided to take the honeymoon they never had.

Where will they go? Who will they meet on their vacation? And, will something happen that will change the dynamic forever?

Hello, all! So I’m starting a new legacy. A to Z: The Journey exploded, so I took a break from TS3 and went back to TS2 (still probably the better of the two). Needless to say, reading The Creeper Legacy and a few others made me jealous so I had to start again.

Without further ado, I present… Shnidlentstein: An Epic.

Meet Lucy Shnidlenstein. Named after Lucy Ricardo in the classic TV show, “I Love Lucy.” Can you guess the naming theme in this legacy? If so, you get a gold star because you rock. Moving on.

Lucy is a Clumsy, Family-Oriented, Adventurous, Never-Nude, Childish founder. Already doomed to ridicule by her traits, I knew this would be a challenge.

Her favorites are Violet, French Music, and Crepes.

“Umm. How awesome is it that I have over $40,000 already? Heck. Yes.”

Yeah. My fault. It’s a long story, but I do intend on disposing of the money in some way.

Despite my gaffe, Lucy’s home was still as humble as  possible. Ahh, the wonderful and terrible first stages of a legacy. Good times, friends. Good times.

Lucy needed to be poor. And quick.

So, what better way, I thought, to spend money than going on a distant vacation?!

“Great. Let’s go ahead and do the same ‘I’m experimenting with World Adventures!’ chapter that everyone else is doing. Wonderful.”

Perfect.

It took all of two seconds for Lucy to pack, get airline tickets, call a shuttle service, and make arrangements in Egypt. Not to mention, I cannot imagine that Lucy has a valid passport. If only life were more like Sims… I digress.

The taxi came by and Lucy hopped in… rather cautiously.

Lucy: “Are… are you going to steal me?”

Random Taxi Driver: “Maybe.”

45 seconds later, we were in Egypt. Almost immediately, she signed up for some quests and went on her hunt.

Lucy – “You remind me of a Yeti.”

Sopdu: “Okay. How about you go get my papers from the tomb of death and get back to me, ‘kay?”

Lucy: “Jerk. You can forget about ever being married into the Shnidlensteins.”

I’m sure he’s real devastated about it. :/

She found his freaking papers no problem and went through, what I found to be, a rather fun tomb. Of course, it was the first tomb I’d ever gone through and I was a tad giddy and n00bish the entire time.

Sopdu showed his appreciation to Lucy by pawning her off on one of his associates, Youssef. She, naturally, followed him blindly, even though, while reading the adventure description, there was a subtle, but very clear, warning about Youssef.

Lucy: “I must have you.”

Eager, much? She was already rolling wants to kiss Youssef and she’d hardly met him. While she was largely ignored, he did manage to send her to get him some turquoise, y’know, somewhere in the region of the Great Pyramids. Whatevs.

Since it was incredibly late, the turquoise would have to wait until the morning. Flirtation, on the other hand, was up front and center. Lucy was thrilled to discover that Youssef was single and swinging. Well, not swinging. You get the point.

Things progressed pretty quickly from there…

Youssef: Your eyes glow like… the… stars shine on the pyramids….

Lucy: Oh, Youssef! *giggle*

Lucy set her tent up right beside Youssef’s home. Apparently, this is very offensive in Egyptian culture. Youssef came out and had a hissy fit until he finally gave up and retreated into his house.

Don’t worry about their relationship, though. While she slept, Lucy magically became besties with both Sopdu and Youssef.

Oh. Well, a very good morning to you, Youssef… Mmmh.

Lucy: *giggling*

Oh, childish Sims.

You’re looking a little… determined, there, Lucy.

“Must. Find. Turquoise. For My Love.”

Mmkay. Go for it.

She succeeded and returned to Youssef quickly. The day was nearly over, and the two found themselves inside Youssef’s house as the sunlight came to an end.

I’ll have to leave you here… What will happen next? Is Youssef really as great as he comes off? Will Lucy make some regrettable decisions during her stay in Egypt? Check back soon for more!
